Get ready to simplify live show merch management and elevate your merch strategy with Merch Cat. Our user-friendly platform enables artists to sell merch, track inventory, and gain valuable insights, all from iOS devices. Integrated with Square and Bandsintown, Merch Cat offers real-time inventory tracking, auto-generated settlement sheets, and a MerchMetrics dashboard for actionable sales data, helping musicians maximize their merchandise revenue.
To help artists further capitalize on the artist-fan connection at live shows, Merch Cat offers an integrated direct to fan app, Merch Cat FAN. Merch Cat FAN enables fans to buy merch before, during, and after shows and either pick up at the merch table or ship to home.
Merch Cat also offers merch strategy and merch sourcing as value add services for clients.
Merch Cat is an ‘artists first’ company founded in 2015 by Vanessa Ferrer, after identifying the importance of the merch revenue stream for musicians and the lack of a live show merch management system accessible to all artist levels. Merch Cat’s mission is to empower artists and their teams to maximize the merchandise revenue stream through technology, resources, and intel.
To date, Merch Cat has had artists across all levels and genres in its ecosystem, ranging from emerging artists Hannah Wicklund, Hollis Brown, and Jared and the Mill, to seasoned artists such as the Marshall Tucker Band, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, and Jesse Dayton.
Merch Cat has become a familiar brand, and Ferrer a familiar voice, at both artist and industry focused conferences. Passionate about education, Ferrer has spoken on over two dozen panels about the importance of merchandise as an artist revenue stream and fan engagement tool in today's music landscape. Conferences include South By Southwest, Music Biz, AmericanaFest, NAMM, and A2IM’s Indie Week.
Ferrer is a member of the Recording Academy and Women In Music, and Merch Cat is a member of the Music Business Association, the Independent Record Label Association (A2IM), and the Music Manager’s Forum-US.
